On the basis of the Order of Regional Food Industry on September 25, 1945 “Vinnitsa Town Food Integrated Plant” was founded.

In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Food Industry of USSR No. 284 of 21.07.69 the Town Integrated Plant was renamed into “Vinkombinat” and then on 12.01.1978 according to Vinnitsa Regional Food Industry Order the “Vinkombinat” was renamed into “Vinnitsa Plant of Grocery Products”.

In June 1998 by the Decision of Stockholders' General Meetings OJSC “Vinnitsa Plant of Grocery Products” (VPGP) was founded and in July 1999 in the result of restructuring OJSC “Vinnitsa Plant of Fruit Concentrates and Wines”, OJSC “Vinnitsa Flavoring Factory” and OJSC “Vinnitsa Macaroni Factory” were created on the base of OJSC “VPGP”.

OJSC “Vinnitsa Plant of Fruit Concentrates and Wines” began its activity with production of concentrated apple juice, apple puree, jam and bread kvass (1998). And in 2000 the plant started producing marshmallows under the trade mark “Solodka mriya”.

Nowadays

At present OJSC “Vinnitsa Plant of Fruit Concentrates and Wines” produces marshmallows, concentrated apple juice, apple puree, apple jam and bread kvass (in summer).

The total area of the plant makes up 0,73 hectares.

The value of the enterprise’s capital assets makes up more than 100 mln. UAH.

The following departments successfully function at the plant:

•     fruit processing department;
•     confectionery department;
•     bread kvass production department.

The personnel of the enterprise consists of more than 100 persons.

The main professions at OJSC “Vinnitsa Plant of Fruit Concentrates and Wines” are represented by: technologists, microbiologists, laboratory assistants, confectionery equipment operators, managers, vacuum steam assembly operators, press operators as well as makers of food mixtures, juices processors, inserters-packers, turners, mechanical technicians.

OJSC “Vinnitsa Plant of Fruit Concentrates and Wines” regularly supplies its products to its partners in Germany, Russia, Belarus.
